State of North Carolina County of Craven; ss:
On this 12th day of September, A. D. one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, personally appeared before me, a Notary Public within and for the county and State aforesaid, Robert Dunbar, who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is____, Years of age and a resident of Bayboro, County of Pamlico State of North Carolina and that he is the identical person who was enrolled at New Bern, N.C., under the name of Robert Danvers (alias - Robert Dunbar) on 16th day of June, 1863 as a Private, Co. B, 35 U.S.C. Vol Inf, In service of the United States in the Civil War, and was HONORABLY discharged at Charleston SC on the 1st day June 1866.That he was not employed in the Military or Navel service of the United States otherwise than as stated above. That his personal description at enlistment was as follows: Height 5 Ft 5 Inches; Complexion Black; color of eyes Black; color of hair Black; that his occupation was Laborer; that he was born September 6, 1847 at Tyrell County NC. That his several places of residence since leaving the service have been as follows; Tyrell County and Bayboro, Pamlico Co NC In the Former year to 1890 and in latter place since that year. That he is pensioner under certificate No. 853088, that he has applied for pension under original No._______________. That he makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the
pension roll of the United States under the provisions of the act of May 11 1912 . That his Post-Office address is Bayboro, County of Pamlico, State of N.C.
